First weekend in June
Friday started out with me holding the Swedish State of the Union Speech for the national day (on June 6th). As the Honorary Consul was out of town, they asked me if I would do the honor to hold the speech. Of course I said yes, so I co-wrote the speech which I was very proud to do as well. It was held at the Swedish club in front of 75 - 95 people, nervous to hold my first speech in English, but everything went well. After that, a dinner with herring and salmon and smulpaj. After that, I met up with some friend for some bar hopping all night long.
Saturday started out with brunch with Janet, one of my best friends from back in the days here in Seattle. In the afternoon, I went to the park and threw some frisbee with Ophelia and went out for dinner and drinks with her as well.
Record high with 32C in Seattle today, what a perfect day to be indoors all day studying huh? Well, too hot for me anyways and here I am at my third coffee shop for the day working on my thesis. At least I'm not alone as everyone is studying for their finals. However, time for a break and about to go to dinner to watch the (baseball) game with some friends.
Since I just started blogging, there's so much I still need to tell you (or future) me to understand what I do. I need to show you my studio, my neighborhood, favorite coffee shop, my work place, friends and family. But all of that will come during time.
